Default Whoops, help please.

After 6 weeks of nice weather we had a decent amount of rain last night, which is unfortunate becuase I left my top down and my doors off. My jeep is just drenched . I haven't started it yet, so I'm hoping the electrical system is okay, but I'll find that out when I leave for work. Assuming nothing shorts immediatly, what is my best course of action when I get home tonight? Should I take anything apart, and if so, how? Thanks!

My JK has been drenched a dozen times Just keep the top off if possible and let the air dry it out. I've never had anything short out. But I turn off the radio and any other electrical components to be sure. Dry stuff with a towel and you'll be good to go

Pull your carpet out and let it dry and pull your drain plugs. The carpet holds alot of water.

Take the doors off and go for a long fast drive to dry it out.

Yeah, you'll have to pull the plugs for sure. I've had a ton of water in mine before and it didn't just dry up over time because the carpet holds the water like a sponge. It's easy to pull the plugs and it will be dry in no time.

I haven't had the carpet or the drain plugs in for a long time. I was just worried about the radio and other electronics, but they all seem to work, so I guess no reason to worry! Thanks for the replys!

Pull out the jack and other stuff in the pouch, wipe it all off. That pouch likes to help the tire changing tools rust.
