I took my 2013 sport up a sand dune and I thought the damn thing was gonna fall apart because it was shaking so bad why does it do this?

It's probably one of the safety features i.e....hill assist or traction control, needs to be turned off. I'm not sure but I know someone will be on to give u a definitive.

Wheel hop is when your tires gain and loose traction at a rapid rate. It is very hard on parts and should be avoided if possible.

Usually to much air and a lot if wheel spin causes it. Air down and let off when it occurs.
