Damn whole lot of road salt. So glad that in the People's Republic of California they use sand instead of salt.

 

Two things is a problem here, first yes cars should fall on parts from impact but how strong should it be? Should it become bag of plastic from such impact? Second issue, it will cost couple of grands to fix this CRV, yes insurance will pay for it if driver is having collision on policy, however every time insurance have pay high price they are raising premiums in this area as dangerous to everybody. As result everyone will eventually pay for this ... So?

 

it is lot of salt, even worse now. We are expecting two more snow/ice storms in NJ this week. It is craze winter, glad to drive My JKU all the time. I prefer sand too, but i guess salt is cheaper here, besides possibly not as effective. my MB is over month as sleeping in garage, clean, charged and covered
