why is my TPMS stuck on?
ya know I did pull the codes and nothing came up except for .----DONE----. so I figured that there weren't any "user readable codes" and only the dealer plugging into the OBD2 port would show what or where something was wrong.
I am hopping that that is the case, I will call Go West Jeep tomorrow to clarify. If they can identify which one is bad I also hope that they will just give me the replacement to take to the place where I am getting the new wheels and tires and install it on the new rim.

Seeing as how there were only 4 codes and none came up on your Jeep I wonder if it is the spare that is the problem? I wonder if taking the spare off and moving it away from the Jeep would clear the light to tell you that is the problem tire. All this is just letting my mind get some exercise.
WOW I never thought of removing the spare. It was the one that was down to 32PSI, mostly because of the temps dropping I would guess (in the low 30's in the mornings). I will do that today and leave my tire here at work. The drive home and back will be about 50 miles, so if it is the spare it should reset by then.

Any update on this? did you make it to the dealer?"
If I get the quote today that I am expecting (friend of the family discount
) then I will order the wheels and tire for installation on the week of Oct 7th. IF the sensor is still messed up then I will have to coordinate with the GO Chrysler dealer, which is a half a mile down the road from the tire installer, Then replace the sensor on the wheel, and then go get the new tires and wheels and switch over the sensors....what a mess...
I live up in the high Rockies and a trip to Denver is relitively close, 2.5 hours, but it is still something that requires planning. It was so easy when I lived in "the city" because I could just stop by places....

No joy on leaving the spare off......light's still on.....
I double checked all pressures, all 5 are at 37 psi. Nothing to do now but wait till I arrange for the tire/wheel swap.
I long for the days that cars were dumb
