I hope this isnt a dumb question or already another thread. I own a 2009 2 door. Found on kijji a soft top off a 2013 2door all heardwear for 500$

I feel this is a good deal but not sure if it will fit. I know there were some changes to soft tops( or i thought).

Any help?

 

I could be wrong, but I don't see why it wouldn't. We have a 2011 on our 08 and I don't think there is much difference between the tops on the 11's and the 12/13's.

 

It will fit as long as you have the door surrounds that go with the top.

 

12-13 JKs rear window is wider than older JKs... Who knew that? Lol

 

As long as you have all the hardware, including the door surrounds and brackets, it will fit just fine.

 

As mentioned above, as long as you have all of the hardware...it will work. The only problem that you may run into is if the top is the premium twill material, and you have half doors. The half doors aren't made with the premium twill material. The twill top is a deeper, shinier black so the top and the half door uppers would be a different color.
