Default Will any year hardtop work on an 09?

Hey guys I'm new to jeeps. Owned several other fourwheel drive vehicles. I'm buying a 09 model Unlimited this weekend. It does not have the hard top. I have found an 07 and 08 model Freedom top. Will this work on the 09? thanks.

Thanks guys, you all were talking about the footmans loop. Is this something I could modify to work? I found one off an 07 for 850 which is good deal.

Ok, a 07/08 hard top will fit on your 09 (as far as I know). However, if you get an 09 top it will have the additional latch that latches to the footman loop on the windshield frame. I haven't seen a 2010 top yet, but it's probably the same as 09.
