Wind noise from front windshield.*****
Didn't mean to post yet! But awe here it goes...
New 2012 off the lot it had a wind noise comming from the bottom left corner of the windshield. At first i thought it was judt bc they werent meant to be aerodynamic. But after driving around more i get more suspicious. Any input? I got a hard top and the noise comes from behind my front left speaker (windshield) region. Sorry again for the silly typos.

Id understand it being a jeep thing if it was on the passenger side as well. Im sorry but we are in 2012. They really have not mastered that issue? Im sick of hearing "its a jeep thing". I love my jeep dont get me wrong.

Ok... For a serious consideration... The service department at the dealership said they had a specialist who could better evaluate and fix a air leak or wind noise.
I only bring this stuff up bc it finally rained the other day in florida so i couldn't have windows down and it was annoying

Go dive another jeep just like yours and you will see. The it's 2012 comment about its a Jeep thing is kind of unnecessary. You bought a vehicle that has the ability to have the top removed and the windshield lowered down any time you wish, it's almost impossible to think it could be sealed 100%. If your that worried take some caulking around all seals around the windshield (black caulk so it doesnt look bad) and a finishing tool to it. That might help some. But yes it's a jeep thing, 2012 or not. It's cause the windshield goes down, don't like it? get a Cherokee, much much more quiet and still able to do some offloading

Got a roll of 2'' masking tape and tape and tape any body seam you are suspiscious of. Drive it and listen. If it's quiet, then untape the seam a little at a time until the noise starts again. The air leak is found!!

Mine had same issue from same spot. I carried it back and had the dealer service dept. caulk it up. Problem solved, under warranty, and they lent me a rental car for the day while they repaired it.

Hey I had same problem. After going to dealer twice I found the problem. Its the seal on the door just down from windshield.... Mine stuck out and wind would catch it.It sounded like it was coming from windshield but it was door.So I took it to dealer and had them fix it.......hopefully this helps.
