Default Window scrape

Front drivers side power window has been making grinding noise when going up and down. Noticed the glass is getting a vertical line/scrape from rubbing
something inside the door panel.

Anyone else had this happen?

I have to take it to get the the soft top header replaced due to a whistling noise. Guess I will add this to the list. I noticed today it is on the inside of the window.

With the window...are you sure it may be a rock or dirt that slipped in along the rubber molding in the window? I noticed that after wheeling and was creating a scratch on my window. I just cleaned up the window seals and it seemed to help.

It sounds like the sound is coming from the middle part of the door and since the scratch is on the inside of the window I am thinking it is rubbing against an internal component. Maybe???

Don't know about a TSB but I was having an axle seal replaced and told them about the header noise so they ordered a new one. Took about 2 months for it to come in.

The first year the softop was quiet...but I just noticed this spring the wind noise was brutal. Then I noticed that the front header was bent up from the windshield frame and was not sitting flush. I am not sure how that header would get bent???

Mine is bent too. I also had it replaced. Still bent. Waiting for the metal header if they ever make it.
