are the soft top and hardtop tinted equally? and if so... what is the %%?

i want to tint the front windows to match obviously

 

i'm not sure, but i know that the bestop replacement windows are 31% tint. it's not factory, but i think they try to match original parts as much as possible.

 

does anyone know if they soft top and hardtop are tinted the same?

 

chances are the back windows and soft top windows/hard top windows should be right around 15 to 20%... most states have a front window minimum tint of 30-32%... GA does at least

They are definetly tinted, or at least as an option. Mine are.

My guess is also around 20% for the factory sides/back, here in TN the limit is 35% on the front sides. I have 20% on my car and it looks about the same as the soft top windows.

 

Semms like every state has different laws on tint. What I did was get the side windows tinted as dark as legal. It is a bit lighter than the sides, but legal. Most shops that have been in business for a while will have several shades that will match nicely.

 

Mine are tinted. From what I heard, you got the sunrider windows tinted when you order the "S" package. Mine are very dark, almost the same as the freedom top. But I'm in Canada, maybe a different softer regulation here ?
