Never heard of it. Is the whistle a soft top header issue? What year JK?

If you think it's the windshield, did you try taping it off to see if that effects the noise?

Why not have them fill the gaps with caulk? It should quiet things down and anyone can do it.

My wife just had the windshield on her Jeep replaced as well and she said it's whistling. I'm currently at work so I've not had a chance to get home and see it for myself.

However the guy who replaced it said that Jeeps are kinda weird when you replace windshields, said something about there is not an exact place to line the thing up on, so he would mark where the old windshield was and try his best to get it lined up again. He told us that if we do have any whistle to come back and he would try to adjust the windshield again. He also said aftermarket windshields are known for having more whistle than a factory replacement. Now this is all second hand information since I was not home. But I'll let you know what he says when she takes it back to him if you would like.

Is this thread about replacing the glass, or the whole glass/frame assembly?

Make sure the installer tape off the frame ti avoid paint damage, i just found a glass place in Houston that have a write up on how they change windshields on jeeps, i will give them a call tomorrow to see what they can do for me.

My windshield cracked from my defroster about 6 days after I purchased my Sahara. Luckily for me Jeep replaced it under warranty. I was worried about whistling after all the stories I've heard but it must just be on non-factory replacements.

I've had a few windshields replaced with aftermarket glass without any whistle....sorry to add to the complexity of your issue. They didn't fill my windshield gap in with extra caulk but still no whistle.
