Default Wire in Front Bumper

I replaced my stock bumper with an Expedition One bumper and now I am left with a wire flopping around. The wire was held on to the stock bumper with clips and I assume it is for the fog lights, which is interesting because I didn't have fogs. Has anyone found a good place to tuck the wire up and out of the way? Am I going to have problems if I cut the wire and just cap it?

I wouldn't cut it. You never know what you'll need it for.

There have been various ideas as to what it really is though.... I can't remember if we ever decided what it was for exactly. Have any pictures?

It sure sounds like the fog lights; I just replaced my bumper and that's exactly what my fog light wiring harness was like. Pain in the rear end to remove those clips, BTW. I agree about not cutting the wiring because it may be useful in the future. In my case, the new Shrockworks bumper had a nice tray that the wiring lays securely in (actually not a tray, but a part of the bumper shaped like a tray). If you're worried it may flop out at an inopportune time, you might check with an auto parts store or Radio Shack, and see if they have some kind of cable clamps that are stick on versus pop/screw on. You might also check in the household area of a local five and dime (okay, probably they're more like dollar stores, but you know what I mean!).
