Question wobble over bumps ?

I have been noticing my 4 door X has been wobbling when I go over bumps in te road rather then the normal Up Down ? There are a few spots on a certain highway where I hit a slight bump on a slight turn and my jeep has a fast Left to right wobble that last for like 2 seconds after I hit the damn bump ! I have no lift and I have stock wheels etc. Is this common Bring on the wise cracks if I deserve them

I guess I will be the first to say " Darn, it's a Jeep thing".

I would check out your steering stabilizer ? I had the same issue and mentioned it to my dealer, they checked it and found that the stabilizer was leaking fluid. Was replaced under warranty though. My rig was only 4 months old when it did this and I live on a rough dirt road so that might have contributed to it's early failure.

could be the rear track bar is loose. That can give you some side to side motion.

Yea, anytime you get side to side motion, check the track bars for tightness.

While you are under there, check your tie rod and drag link for play side to side.

Also your wheel bearings (lift a wheel slightly off the ground and see if you get any play up and down lifting it).

Definitely not normal! If it's under warranty, take it in and let them fix it. Otherwise, get underneath and see if everything's tight.
