Unhappy Won't Start, Alarm is activated!

My Jeep won’t start. Seems like the security alarm has been triggered and will not disarm. Went to start it yesterday evening and there was no power, no crank. I was able to get a boost from a stranger in the parking lot and as soon as power was applied the alarm system went off! I couldn’t stop the alarm with the key fob and it wouldn’t stop when the key was put in the ignition and turned on. Still no crank when the alarm was activated. Does anyone have a solution to my alarm issue?

Ya, the batteries are good, I have both keys with me and neither one works. I hope I can solve this soon, I'm approx 1200K away from home and am due to go home again as soon as next week. I really wanted to avoid a tow to the dealership because there is 75,000K on it and long out of basic warranty. Thanks for the suggestion.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 10 min (or longer so you can recharge it). That will reset the computer and any and all codes. Might not work, but it is free and easy to try!!!
