First off, switching from X springs to rubi springs will give you a harsher ride not a better one.

Second no these springs are not the same. Jeep has like 30 part numbers for all these springs and they all have different spring rates.

I have a 4 door rubi and my buddy has a 2 door X. After installing my 4'' lift we decided to put my factory rubi springs and 2'' pucks on his X and ended up with a total of 4'' of lift. And by the way it is a much stiffer ride.

Look at the spring numbers on the tags before doing it!! This thread will help you:

I know one of the guys I wheel with has the same springs in the front of his 4dr. Rubi as I do in my 2dr. Sahara. Check the numbers, it's the only way to be sure

Omar....I concur!!
After piecing together my lift comprised of Skyjacker 2.5 spring kit(sold as 2dr/4dr lift, I have 2dr) lifted me 3.75" then i added a 1.5" spacer and RC 2.2 shock setup and sway disconnect. Dummy me. I never bought adj. LCAs and only used the frt/rr trackbar brackets supplied with the kit. I destroyed all rod ends and all balljoints. Since Ive swapped in the Rubi-Unl hardtop suspension: Frt track bar, LCAs, springs, and shocks plus my spacers for a 3.5" over stock lift. It had all my new front end parts in a bind still, so I pulled the spacers out and went to the stealership in Bmont Tx, to check alignment and axle position. Bill of A OK, I'm now 2" over stock and sorry guys I should have known better than to piece the lift together....That bad move cost me more than the original lift in all the replacement frontend parts. By the way the Rubi susp. was free. Some guys dont really care to make money off there old stuff collecting dust in the garage. Thanks friend.
