X with Rubicon Wheels/Tires?

Has anybody here just taken stock Rubicon wheels and tires and put it on an X? Better yet, do you have pictures?

I have the steel wheels on mine, with the wimpy GY wrangler tires. Those wheel wells need to be filled in, and I think the Rubicon looks amazing, with its stock wheels and tires. But, will they give the X the same look? I know the suspension is different, but it looks like the X should be able to fit the Rubi stockers easily, no?

Yeah it's been done. You don't need a picture just imagine an x in the appropriate place & use your finger to block the word rubicon. Abbracapocus . There's no appreciable height diff. attributed to the suspension.

Did it...love it...don't have a pic here at work. :2thumbs:

Doing it this weekend, I'll post some pics after it's done. But, there are a few others here and there in the my jk project section if you look.

I ran 33's at stock height for while too....so 32's should be no issue at all.

Looks nice. Mine will be the same shortly.

What ratio do you have? Mine came with the 3.21 and I am little concerned about that with the Rubicon wheels and tires. I think I am going to have to change that.

My "X" came with the 3.21 and I haven't noticed much of a change at all after going from the stock 225/75R16's up to the 265/75R16's....it should be fine, but I agree it could benefit from a better rear end.

Ok, I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I get the new ones on there. I am sure at some point I'll change the ratio, but my JK is only a week old, and I wasn't ready to do it this early. I am happy to hear that it doesn't make a big difference. I was hoping that I could get away with just changing the speedo gear for now, and doing the ring and pinion changes later on.

Thanks for the info.
