Default JL Side Mirrors Drip Water

Having recently purchased a new JL model, do I still need to drill a small weep hole in the bottom of the plastic mirror mounting plate where it attaches to the door like I did on my old JK?

If you are still getting days of water dripping from the mirror bases, then I would say yes. Have you washed it to see?

Don't need to wash it. LOL. Been under a flash flood warning for the past week. I've had over 22 inches of rain so far (TS Christobol). I'm pushing 18 inches of water on the street just to get out of my house. Hope the area dries out soon.
No drips from the mirrors yet. Was just wondering if it anyone on the Forum was having any issues and if they drilled the bases.

Wow, hope you can stay dry, Jobber. They may have addressed the issue with the earlier JK models
