Is anyone that has recently ordered a new JL able to tell me what the current delivery time on a new order is? Dealers tell you anything they think you want to hear.

 

There are many variables in the timing of delivery for an ordered vehicle. I disagree with "they tell you what you want to hear". Dealerships get ordering opened up 1st week of each month, with specific numbers of vehicles by models that can be ordered for that particular dealership. Many times equipment is on restriction for specific vehicles which delays the order build; many times the dealership had orders from the prior month in system and they get scheduled reducing the number they can get built. When ordering ask if the model you are ordering has any restrictions on equipment. (for example: last year manual transmissions were over-ordered and shipments were delayed).
