Poking at putting in an after market amp...does anyone have one of the PAC adapters laying around!?

Not sure that you would need an adapter to wire in an amp, the PAC is more for an aftermarket head unit.

If you retain the factory HU you need a PAC or other adapter to intercept the canbus signal. I ordered it...so hopefully it's legit.

I bought one and installed it because it was the only direct wiring kit listed for the 2012. Luckily I had the SWI Jack from my last vehicle cause the other in does not allow and aftermarket head interface with the steering wheel controls. It was a fairly easy install but expensive.
