It works great. Be sure to brace the ceiling sufficently. I added 2x4 strongback for added rigidity. Be sure to use the 2x6 boards against the ceiling as stated in the instructions.
The red Wal-Mart tie-down straps are just for my peace-of-mind.
Living in Florida, I switch between Freedom Top and Sun Rider a couple of times a month depending if I'm on a beach trip or a business trip.
