I found it was too expensive for the hard top so i just bought the Thule Hitch Ski/Snowboard Carrier. Works for me! roughly $200.

Only thing bad about a hitch ski/board rack is all the road grime and salt that will be on the gear afterwards.

there is enough room that i put the skis in a ski bag and then snap them in. just bought a cheap used bag at a consignment sports store.

Ok so I bought some of the stuff on ebay:

Gutter mounts: $61 shipped!
58" Load Bars: $33 shipped!

pretty good deals if I do say so. Now all I need is the ski/snowboard holder that goes on the bars. I will send a few PMs to the people that have messaged me to see if they are interested in selling only that part.
