that would be sweet! hopefully they start making some for the JK! would love that swap. get that over a hemi for sure

Yes, but if they do swaps, me being a power junkie, I would want the grand cherokee crd, even more power.

emission laws prohibit the wrangler diesel in its current form from coming to the untied states :( even if you imported it, it would still be illegal

That's a pretty lame law. What's the reasoning with the emissions? I find it hard to believe a diesel JK would be any worse on the environment that a semi or big Dodge diesel.....

The emission requirements are based on vehicle class. The JK falls into the same emission class as passenger cars.
