Default eagle ridge updates

Hey everyones

Went to eagle ridge on Saturday to realize the main entrance is completely blocked off... It looks like some logging is going to happen in area. There is a major ditch now with massive boulders on the other side..... I was not impress at all....

So I went I little bit further down underneath the powerline and found a way to get back to the main trail.... However, there is 2 major mud puddles at the entrance. I didnt make it..... I dug my jeep out for 4 hrs and had to pull two other trucks that also got stuck.... FYI. Even though the right side might look easier, dont go there. Its about 3-4 feet of goooey mud. so not a good idea. I would have probably made it through the middle part, but a jeep was already stuck there. Tried to go around to help him, but it didnt work..lol... A third truck came but also got stuck...Was quite interesting....

Can't wait to give it a second try now....with a different line maybe

This was posted on BC4x4.Com

"Just a heads up for anyone planning on running Eagle........its off limits for about a month as crews are working up there. They have dug a large ditch all the way along the tree line so there is no entrance to the bypass, even from the bottom near the pipeline trail. Lets not try & go through the ditches & get stuck, they will just dig them deeper. There are no plans for a gate at this time but if we piss them off then you knows. They should be done by early October, so lets stay out for now till they are done & then see what happens."
