Has anyone been to the “Jeep Doctor” in winnipeg
YUP! He does know his stuff about early Jeeps and He has all the parts, I'm not sure what he has for the JK's though. He buy's all the broken down Jeeps from everyone, auto wrecker's and anyone else who is selling one in any condition. He should be called "the Jeep commie" that just my opinion!
What accesesories were you wondering about? What you looking for?

ah... i'm not sure if he deal's with the new JK's. I know he mostly has used parts for cj's,yj's and tj's he also lifts them...
I bought a 2.5" lift kit, grab handles, jk decals, wheel spacers and trac bar relcocation bracket all online and had no problems... I got them shipped to a place in pembina N.D. no problems at all! the american company's will useually have free shipping to any state. you can get a fuel door from any chrysler dealership. there is a 4x4 store on McPhillips called Ak offroad just after the KFC by Inkster Blvd. good luck..

yah, Jeep doctor seems like a pretty good guy (if you aren't bidding against him in Autopac auctions that is)
I've ordered some stuff through:
AK offroad - on McPhillips
and
Canadian Super Shop - on Portage
and have found them to both be reasonable. There prices are always more than online but if you take shipping into account they are very comparable.
Just my 2cents

Don't be scared of online ordering.....using your Credit Card is a great way to buy things.....very secure.....if you get frauded out or ripped off, you call the card company and they reimburse everything you lost and then go after the clown who ripped you off.
That being said, I don't like ordering online from US dealers (which is almost the only way to go right now). Not because they're "American" and not because the service is bad......its the darn taxes, border fees, and brokerage fees that are a huge kick in the teeth.
The only real option is National 4WD, but be warned, they're costs are massive, and you'll end up paying the same as you would from a US dealer.
So with that, what is needed is a Canadian dealer who can be online for customers across theountry, who has their costs in check and not blown out of proportion with a 60-70 percent mark-up....and has they're costs in line with the US dealers.
