Default winter front

is anyone making winter fronts for the JK yet?... tried last year with no luck!!

Only thing I can think of is to use the grill thread mod....but instead of Mesh you could add solid aluminum or hard plastic (smoked plexi-glass) behind the grill for winter. Just have to drill holes into the solid aluminum or hard plastic (Plexi glass) to somehow tie down the winter cover.

I've had my Jeep for 2 years now and I haven't found the need for one the heater works great at -38 which it is right now.

I did the Grill Mod back in 07, I don't think it made a lick of difference other then making the grill look better.

Yup, gotta agree I haven't found a need to close 'er off either....
by the way gord, I've seen your ride in Edmonton a few times she looks good

ya i get enough heat to my feet, but,, i find it hard to keep the windows clear with the wife and kids in there while on the hiway, i dunno maybe it's just that cold out.

I also find that the corners of the windsheild don;'t get enough hot air to keep totally clear...anyone else have that issue

When it was -30 here the other day the corners of the windshield didn't get much heat. I have done the old "cardboard behind the grill" mod but didn't notice much difference.

if a winter front makes a difference you have a bad thermostat. its a gas engine not diesel.
