I purchased a 2007 JK online that looked setup for rock climbing. I never asked.the question abou 4 wheel drive be cause i never seen a jeep without 4 wheel.drive. This jeep does.not have 4 wheel.drive. Can I add 4 wheel drive. can I flat tow without 4 wheel drive or should I take a loss and get dind another jeep?

 

You can add 4wd and it's been done quite a few times through the years. You'll need an axle, front ds, and transfer case (in addition to some interior parts) but it can absolutely be done.

 

I'm not trying to be rude but if you purchased a 2WD jeep without knowing it, and based off looks alone, you probably aren't up for what a conversion takes, and paying someone else to do the conversion won't be worthwhile.
