The rear cross brace is removable to get the hard top off as well as the tire out. The spare can be mounted on top of the brace for shows and stuff but we wanted to keep the COG low for wheeling and you wouldn't be able to see out of the back when it's on top so we made it fit inside the box.

Here we go. Now the updates should be fairly regular. We have been waiting on lots of parts and with us building this during our sponsors busy season it takes them time to get parts shipped. The first show planned for this rig is at the 12th annual Off-Road Expo in Pamona California October 8th and 9th. So this is priority build for us right now and we just want to say thanks to our sponsors for standing beside us, providing all the parts we need for this project to work.
Here are some pictures of the Summit Machine "Jimmy Joints" The high misalignment design provides 60 degrees of total misalignment. We are using 1 1/4" for the large ones and 3/4" for the small ones.
This is a size comparison on the 1 1/4"s
We also have the steering arms from North West Fab. They are a springless design which is adjustable for king pin preload vs. using a spring for that.

Here are pictures of the tie rod setup & how the drag link will be positioned once the laser tabs are done. The clamp on the tie rod is where the steering cylinder will attach.
