off road stake bed trailer
Haven't been on here a while. Was in need of a trailer that I can drag about the woods. Was going to be for firewood, trash, hauling the FXDL. I don't care for sides on a trailer normally (because you strap the load down anyhow), so I built a high profile stake bed. The only thing that I dislike are the fenders, so they will be removed and something better fabricated later. I was pretty happy with the height and the clearance of the axle. Total cost $1080.00 and my time of course.
100% tubing (excluding the tongue)
3500lb torflex axle
full articulating hitch
led lighting (all soldered connections with heat shrink)
size 5' x 9'
Have hauled about 1800 lbs and it pulls good. I just did basic photos as the project came together. You'll get the idea.

Look I got the old girl to paint it, HA
