An interesting thing about the T-case support ring we posted a photo of earlier...

We don't have a CNC mill here but the inner diameter needed to be machined to some pretty tight tolerances. We do have a manual (non-CNC) lathe though. So Danny designed the piece with that extra hole centered below the main hole, and it is concentric with the outside edge of the main circle. He did this so he could chuck it up in our lathe to face the inner surface of the ring. I wish I'd grabbed a shot of it when he was doing it but I missed it. Anyhow here's the raw piece from the laser.

I noticed in this and previous pics that the manifold on your LSx is reversed..... and from this pic the air filter is in the cabin. Is this to reduce heat, dust, or a combination of the two?

Until I saw this, I didn't know the Chevy manifolds were "reversible". Learn something new every day.......

BTW, the build looks awesome. I'm at Fort Irwin... so you're giving me an excuse to drive to Johnson Valley this winter and see this rig in person

Well done on using the GOD engine. Specs on engine. Hoping a 6.2 of some type, looks like a truck oil pan. Awesome build
