Rebel Child - known for killer gloss powdercoat and even cooler 40's on 60's with our RECON coilover conversion, is currently undergoing a major operation. After punching a hole in the side of the block the size of a grapefruit, we are sticking a brand new 3.8L V6 in plus adding a RIPP Superchargers Gen 2 Stage 2 supercharger system. We'll add more to the build as it progresses.

WHY DIDN'T REBEL INSTALL A V8? Sure, that'd be the "cool" solution, but not feasible for most Jeepers out there. This can be done in a garage, require no special tuning, and keep's Californias extremely stringent SMOG program happy.

Hey Rebel did RIPP work through the long arm issue with regards to their headers? I have a friend with the RIPP II and their headers and it's bad ass!

Old engine out - ready for the new heart! This is a fantastic opportunity to look around and see if anything else is wrong. Upon inspection we noticed both exhaust manifolds were cracked.

The build continues on the 10th Anniversary Rubicon! Body armor stage underway with GenRight Off Road steel fenders and rock sliders. The fenders will help clear the 37" BFGoodrich Tires KM2's while the sliders keep the body off the rocks - can't damage those special edition badges!

10th Anniversary Rubicons are rare enough to see on the road, but how about two in one shop at the same time - getting "full builds"? These two are getting the FULL Rebel treatment. Complete armor (bumper, fender, sliders, skid) upgrades, TeraFlex Suspensions long arm systems, Rebel RECON coilover upgrades with King Off-Road Racing Shocks, cages, Rigid Industries - LED Lighting, 37" tires, the works!

Out with the old and in with the new for this 10th Anniversary Rubicon! Setting aside the 2013 wheels and tires for 37x1250x17 Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar's and 17x19 Hutchinson beadlock wheels!

The eternal Jeep Wrangler JK debate - aluminum vs steel armor... where do you stand? All aluminum fenders, aluminum bumpers, aluminum tire carrier, but steel rocker armor (sliders) on this Wrangler 2-door. Winning combo?

New Rebels! Meet Nico and Dady - who traveled all the way from Indonesia to swing by the Rebel Bunker and say hello! With a box full of Rebel hats, shirts, gear, and other "carry on" sized items - they are all set till their next visit! We had the opportunity to educate them on how Rebel builds vehicles, how our RECON Jeep JK coilover conversion operates, and what makes us different than other facilities. "Memiliki perjalanan yang baik!"

Having fun with a new mobile device App and this 10th Anniversary Edition Rubicon we are building. Can you name all the parts featured? HINT: Surprisingly, both 10th A.E. Rubicons we built this week had Hutchinson beadlock wheels!

This may be the first time we've ever not had at least one Jeep Wrangler JK 4-door on a rack at any given moment! MetalCloak fenders on the CJ, Bilstein shocks on the 4Runner, TeraFlex Suspensions long arm on the TJ, and new King Off-Road Racing Shocks coilovers for the orange LJ!

REBELCON-1 is back at the ‪#‎rebelbunker‬ after it's Bronco Peak Connector tip-over. Amazed the Rigid Industries - LED Lighting 50" bar still fires right up! The Smittybilt XRC corners took all the impact and really proved their strength! Will get it repaired in time for the Jeep Jamboree Rubicon run in August!
