big vintage cb install help
I've got a cobra 29 Ltd from 1993 I'm trying to figure out where to install. Anyone else install one of these big full size cb?
Before anyone says get a smaller one this cb was in my wife's father's old cj who has since passed and she wants his old cb in our jeep so it's got a lot of sentimental value.

If your jk doesn't have the little storage area on top of the radio you can mount it there. Or on the side of the center console down by the shifter. Or get the tuffy overhead console & put it in there. Or mount it on the back of the center console. Or inside the center console. Or pull your radio out and mount it in there. The possibilities are endless. Go sit in your jeep and look around to where you think would be a good spot.

I'm thinking of mounting it on top of the console there. Mine is a 2010 so I've got the flat top. Either there or in the glove box.
I can't use that arr mount because that's where my spod sits.

Bored at the mall waiting on my wife, so I'll just leave these here.
Fender washers on the inside and about a 1 inch standoff..: I've since plasti-dipped it black and you can hardly notice the mounting.
