A true comparison should be done with similar cars, similar interior colors & materials, and quite a few more variables in control. Most tests aren't meticulous enough.

Did the Whipsaw trail and French mines detour in British Columbia, Canada this weekend. The trail was wet from a heavy rain storm the night before which made some of the obstacles challenging. I think a stock jeep would need to winch its way up on one or two of the sections pic from the trail around 6000ft. group stopped at a lake. Then we went to the French mines, here was a cool view from near the mines playing around on a stump at the overlook, had to do a poser shot. walked around inside the mine, cool things to see leaving the mine view just outside the mine

Well there ya go! You're one of those suspicious fellows!
Sorry your holster was broken. Yeah, I got quite the search once when they were suspicious that I might have had a handgun hidden somewhere. Didn't, but I tell you, I was sweating it, wondering if I had a stray magazine or handgun ammo or something else somewhere in the rig, forgotten by me...
Fortunately I didn't. All the other border crossings into Canada, with my rifles, have been effortless.
Regards, CW

I'm about to order terraflex c gussets? Anyone on here running Dana30 with gussets? Would you recommend sleeves for overland expeditions?
Thank you,
Eric

I'm running sleeves and gussets on a D30 (actually doesn't matter whether it's a 30 or 44 since the axle C's and tubes are essentially the same between the two). I think they provide peace of mind. Sometimes the higher speeds and harder impacts involved with traveling a bumpy/washboarded dirt road are harder on our running gear than rock crawling.

I have my housings sleeved and gusseted. I did synergy, but they are all the same. Mine had to be welded on, which requires removing housing paint and repainting after welding.
It is a good thing to do. Whether you're hardcore rock crawling or overlanding it is a wise upgrade to do to prevent having issues on the trail.
