Was the highway in the mountains, with long steep uphill grades?

Hmmm...but I just noticed that you have a 6sp.
Some of us with automatics have been experiencing the mysterious chime and it seems that it is the transmission overheating, but I wouldn't think you'd have that with a manual?

when you experience this, have you had your turn signal on for a while?

By any chance are you leaving the highway because you need gas? The JK tells you with a single chime to check your dash gauges--which might have a lit low gas warning light.

BTW, BaltChief: How do I get it into warp drive? I missed that in the manual.

I may have to pay better attention about the directional signal but I dont think so. No, gas tank was full.

Also 300 miles and I noticed know my throw out bearing is making noise. Whats up with that. Here we go. Go to jeep and have them fix that and break something else in the meantime. Should not happen with a brand new vehicle.
