Good ole Jeep windshield
Gotta love it when this happens. This is my first jeep but the third windshield I've got to replace. First one for my jk though.

Yeah something about the straight up and down angle that just attracts rocks! We have a crack that is starting to look like a lightening bolt!

I got my 2012 Sport in Nov. 2011. In Jan. 2012 I replaced my windshield. Today coming home in the snowstorm I got 3 cracks in the windshield.Maybe Jeep has stock in Safelite?

I had a chip that was growing, instead of replacing the windshield I had the glass place drill a tiny hole just below the crack to force it to change direction. So instead of it going across the windshield, it turned downward and isn't in my line of view. Problem solved.

Side note to this. I had 9 chips 2 cracks finally caved and got a new windshield with geico. I did get one earlier cause I thought I'd get a normal replacement. But they actually replaced it with the same one. I didn't lose my jeep grill or little jeep climbing the rocks. I'm overly excited.

Does getting a bug deflector on the hood help that much? Know a guy who had one and said it wrecked his soft top so took it off
