Driveshaft rub on Auto trans with aftermarket driveshaft?
Anybody else having this problem? I'm getting lots of articulation but I see I'm rubbing the driveshaft to the auto tranny again thought I was done with that when I replaced the stock driveshaft.
I'm running a Teraflex 3" lift, 37" MTR's, Currie control arms upper & lower and a Coast driveshaft. Do I need a long arm kit to stop this from happening? or more bumpstop? or ?
I don't want to loose travel if I can help it , actually I want more travel if I can get it

But if you keep treating that Sahara front axle like that you are on borrowed time my friend. 37s!?
I would worry more about beefing up that front end than how much flex I was getting. Can't comment on the front DS from experience.
My guess would be that your axle is not centered properly causing the DS to rub. Do you have a front adjustable TB?

I can't see what mods you have, because I'm using the mobile app.

It's a Rubicon Dana 44 5:13's, Elocker, trussed, C's twisted & braced, control arm skids, HD track bar & sway bar link mounts, Reid knuckles. JKS Adjustable track bar, axle centered. JKS sector shaft brace
I've added further track bar/stabilizer bracing since these pic's.
Curious what the folks with coil overs are doing regarding the driveshaft rub?

I have been having the same issue for a while so recently I decided to go with coast drive shaft - I am running 35 on three inch lift and trimming the skid plate will not solve the problem

I painted my driveshaft so I could see if I dinged it or rubbed it and it's very clear I hit I think I'll offset the front diff a nudge to driver side as well as grind a little off the tab and pan at the tranny.

I already have the Coast Driveshaft and I've already reworked and trimmed my factory skid plate for clearance. The driveshaft is hitting the auto tranny again just like the factory driveshaft did
