Default Who's up for a ball joint install party?

Seeing how these are a b*tch to deal with, who's up for getting 3-4 rigs together on a saturday or sunday and cranking these bad boys out? I figure 3-4 rigs per ball joint kit being used so it doesn't take the whole day...

------

Scheduled for 1/24/15 @ 4546 Peralta blvd, Fremont. Suite #6,7.
Across the street from THE PARTS HOUSE Auto Parts Between Dusterberry and Central ave.

8:30am till ??

To do:
1. DJ1 -- ball joints, sleeves, & Cs; need to remove my transmission skid plate -- making lunch
2. toy44ups -- ball joints & Cs
3. spinuck -- ball joints -- bringing drinks
4. orangedude71 -- fix bent skids & tracbar; sector shaft brace, Cs, ball joints? -- bringing drinks/desserts
5. asinine -- ?

Helping out:
1. richlortz -- shop!
2. familytime -- welding Cs and 1 ball joint press kit
3. ade
4. automaster209 -- 2 ball joint press kits?

Hanging out:
1. zowen

Should take about 4 hours then....

I don't know what part of NorCal you live. But I would be willing to open up the shop for a jeep parts party after the first of the year. My shop is in Fremont.

...well while the old ball joints are out, getting the Cs done would be the ideal time to do it before putting in the new ones but the only problems are...
1) more time is going to be needed to prep the weld areas
2) finding someone willing to put in the time to do it which I wouldn't want to place on someone cause then everyone's gonna wanna get their Cs done LOL
3) plus you're clocking more time / use of materials on their welding equipment
4) clocking more time @ Rich's shop

I'd be all for it and also willing to pay for the extra time/effort to get Cs done but I'm not expecting it. I was planning on picking up a welder around March so I could just do them myself anyway. I'm more than happy to just do/get the ball joints done & meet/hang out with some fellow jeepers in the process.

Got C's and ball joints done earlier this year, but I'd be happy to come hang out and lend a hand where possible.

Default Ball Joints?!?!?!

I guess I could throw a couple of my ball joint press tools in the back and come lend a hand. Depends on when and where.
