Default Exhaust hangar contacting transfer case

On my '08 2 door, an exhaust hangar is contacting my transfer case and rattling. after a failed attempt to bend it out of the way, the current advice I've gotten is to have a muffler shop weld a new section in that clears the transfer case. Does that seem like the best way to go?

Could you get a torch in there put some heat to it and bend it away ? Maybe muffler shop could for cheap price Instead of running a new section.

I was just under my 2dr all day today doing a clutch, how in the world is your exhaust near the case? I've got a 10 so the design didn't change anything.

Pictures??

Mine sits massively to the framerail, try using a pry bar between the two and sliding it away from the case.

Once mine dries I'll get a picture for you.

Is your exhaust on the hangers in the back correctly??

Yeah, it's like this after a shop replaced an exhaust manifold. I took it back and they were unable to move it back over.

Looks like the shop did not properly route the exhaust when they mounted the manifold.
