Just had my 2013 JKU with 26,060 miles shipped from so cal to bethel and now the heater will not blow warm or hot air. The fan works but no heat! Any ideas/suggestions??

My heater crapped out on my 2013 JKUR too. The dealer said it is a blend door issue, which seems to be fairly common. The bad news is they have to tear into the dash to fix it, and it is about an $1800 job. The good news is our Jeeps are still under warranty!

Take it to a dealer ASAP, and if they give you any static, call Jeep corporate 877-426-5337.

Yep, Blend door issue on my 2012. Out of warranty and big big bucks to fix. So I went to another dealer and traded it in on a new 2015 JKUR. Problem solved.

What's a blend door issue ? And does it just happen?

Cheap little plastic part attached to a actuator that gets turned and opens a door to let hot air through. But the little plastic piece gets stripped, and stops working. Mopar quality for many years and they have never fixed the issue.

Do you have the auto temp option?

I suppose. Depends on your mechanical skill level. It only requires the entire dash removed. So steering wheel, seats, entire dash, and center console come out. And from what I understand some of it takes 2 people to do. There is only one video I have seen and it was for the same problem with a Cherokee. And don't get your hopes all up when you come across the heatertreater site. They never did anything for the Pentastar group.

I guess I should ask everyone. Does this only apply to the auto temp option?
