Default ProRock44 vs. Prorock 44 unlimited

I am going to place my order for my Pro Rock Housing and was wondering if anyone has ordered the unlimited housing? I see It is set up for 4" and up lifts. I have a 3.5" Rock Krawler (which is closer to a 4 to 4.5"). My question is if I order the unlimited housing do I have to change my control arm lengths? I currently have adj uppers and lowers, and it drives smooth with no vibrations. Will the unlimited housing bolt directly on with out any changes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

unlimited is the only way to go. I don't really understand why the normal one exists. I just ordered mine, got the unlimited. pretty sure that you wouldn't have to adjust your control arms, but at the same time if you didn't adjust them, bolting it straight in will net you a bit more caster then you had. I don't know if there is such thing as too much caster, but shortening the uppers wouldn't be that hard to do

I expect he'll have to shorten his lowers.

shorten, lengthen, same thing. I havn't had my morning coffee. however I would guess that since the lca and uca mounts are in the same spot, and that it's simply the way the c's are attached that gives the extra caster, that if he likes his current wheelbase, he would be better off adjusting the uppers instead of the lowers.

We've had many customers install the Unlimited version with 2.5" lifts. It works well and gives you the extra caster these rigs need.

To the OP: You'll want to dial it in with control arm adjustments. It will work well 'as-is' but with as much lift as you currently have, you've made some compromises to both your caster and pinion angles. The Unlimited version will allow you to get a better pinion angle and much more caster. They drive much better with more caster.

Dynatrac, will my stock carrier and shims carry directly over to the new housing? Or will it need set up differently?
