Default MOPAR Bug Shield

My dealer has the MOPAR bug shield in stock for the JK at 10% off. Anyone have one of these and know how it is installed? I understand some of the other model Jeeps simply use some sort of "push pin" installation (no need to drill screw holes). I'm wondering if the JK bug shield is similar.

Price is $71 with the discount.

I have one and installed it myself. You have to drill 4 holes to mount. It was not hard to do. I just needed my wife's help to hold it in place while I marked the drill points. I am very happy with the way it turned out.

I installed mine solo(no wife). It's not too bad. 4 holes.

Seem to do a decent job except in heavy bug zones,
like love bug season right now in Florida. I got
plastered on one stretch near St. Pete airport.

Does the Bug Shield actually work as the name implies on the JK?

Were your instructions clear enough to show you where to put those 2 rectangular pads (Inside 2 positions or outside 2 position)?
