Own the Jeep Desert Racing Scene for Only 50 Gs
Fresh off the finish of the 2016 MINT 400, the off-road racing scene is shifting focus to a few other race classes, including the Jeepspeed division. For those who are looking to get into Jeepspeed, which (not surprisingly) is a special limited class that only allows modded Jeeps, some great news just came down the exhaust pipe: Tuff Stuff 4×4 wants to make a Wrangler that’s brutal enough to handle the race, but will only cost you $50,000 to build.
At that price point, it’d be one of the, if not THE, cheapest options for participating in the Toyota-only series-inspired Jeepspeed. Here’s a run-down of what the Tuff Stuff package would include:
- Poison Spyder bumpers and Jeep armor
- PRP seat belts and race seats
- Auto Meter gauges
- Yukon Gear and Axle 5:14 gears and axles
- MaxTrans Custom Built Turbo 400 transmission
- LQ4 engine built by Pacific Fab
- King Shocks suspension (2.5-inch coil over with 3.5-in bypass)
- 37-in General Tires
- Fiberwerx front dash and center console
- Ruff Stuff front and rear axles, arms and suspension kits
- Tuff Stuff LED lights
- Winches and recovery products
- Linex interior
- Pegasus off-road hoses and fittings
- Airaid air intake system
- MLR Raceworks/Matt Lovell cage
All of that for less than 50 stacks. Then it’ll all be destroyed in a super-fun off-road thriller. The things done for the love of racing.
