Big, expensive, powerful, luxurious, and four-wheel-drive. Sounds like a Range Rover, right? It does…but that’s not what I’m talking about. A few Jeeps can be described that way.

What do you get when you add length and luxury to a Grand Cherokee? In 2018, you’ll get the reborn Jeep Grand Wagoneer and an American competitor to Land Rover with a seven-slat grille. The off-road vehicle company plans to redesign the Grand Cherokee for 2017. Its new platform architecture will serve as the basis for the Wagoneer, which will pack three rows of seats, and offer what Car and Driver thinks will be “a more opulent interior than other Jeeps.”
