Finally, i thought i was the only one in hawaii on this forum (current, that is...)

 

Nope, I read the forum everyday. Wish there were more jk events on island. Seems like no one wanted to be involved with my poker run idea!! Sad

 

I will arrive on Oahu in July and the best part is my Jeep will be waiting for me. Bad part is I will only be there for about a month till I head out for seven months. Once I get back you can believe I will be ready to hits some trails. I should have some more MODS completed once I get back as well and also happy to lend a hand if needed.

 

There are events but not always JK specific. I got the info on your poker run and posted info on it. Most of the time its about how you advertise/market it. People don't always plan way in advanced in the islands. We have been pretty busy but will be having events/runs coming up soon so stand by......

My first day back to work (after a month off for shoulder surgery) and i couldn't believe how many JK's there are on the airfield. If we came up with a card to leave on windshields, maybe more people would join or be more group active. I talked to a guy that was with Ohana Trails, they have events and things but i think it's just getting the word out....

 

Maybe having the website address on a bumper sticker might get some interested.

Chirp....chirp....chirp.....anyone interested in a trail run?

 

We're going up next weekend to Peacock Flats to camp. We also usually end up at Kaena Point Wednesday afternoons.

When is the next run? It would be great to have another one. I'll be leaving in September so it would be nice to do a goodbye event.

 

Is kaena point a good trail for a stock rubi JKU? Im in nanakuli so it's just up the road for me...
