Default Work Trip to Oahu

I'll be in Oahu from 9-12 thru 9-25. Wondering where would be some good places to go on my down time, and if there is any place that would rent a JK out for some trail riding, if there is any. Hit me up, let me know.

Thanks

Really, nothing to do on Oahu? I find that hard to believe. Since I'll be there over a weekend, some good sights would be nice to know.

I spent 3 weeks there for work in 2008 (my job sucks right? lol)

I went to an Irish pub (weird right?) near the Aloha Towers. It rocked! Live Irish Music! I heard a band there that had their stuff on itunes and now I listen to them a lot :-)

Their highway near the city, H1, turns into a parking lot at rush hour. It's crazy...

I snorkled at Hanauma bay (sp), and that was pretty sweet. If you get out past the reef, you can see sea turtles (so they say). Be sure not to actually touch the reef though.

The North Shore is cool, but the big waves usually hit during the winter I believe, but when I was there in Nov. of 2008, there were some competitions going on with pretty big waves!

Hang loose!

Wish I had seen this thread earlier, would have told you some great things to do. After living here for the past four months, I can tell it is difficult to get bored here. I hope your trip was awesome. If anyone else on the forum makes it out here, PM me, I'll let you know the things that are worth doing.

Stay in Hawaii was good, can't wait to go back, while not on work of course. I was unable to meetup for the grand opening and trail ride, and wish that I could have worked it in.
