I'm excited about this change to the forum. I know both Bill and Frank and they are good people.

Good luck on the long road of restoration ahead, hope the best for the jeep community as a whole!
It's a marathon not a sprint in my opinion but hopefully over time relationships become stronger and divisions become whole again if that makes sense. All I know is we're looking forward to a place focused on positive energy that's cooperative to the entire jeeping community! Glad to see you back and we're looking forward to doing runs & events together!

Frank (sm_rubi) and Bill (DesertJeep) you guys have our respect and full support as you move froward!
Best,

It certainly was great to be able to put some faces to some of the screen names up in the LA area as well as reconnecting with old friends. It's human nature that change is hard to embrace, however, we hope that our message for the vision of the new management group was received. It's the people on this site who will dictate the new direction of the forum and whether or not we become a community people enjoy visiting. The only downside from last night was listening to Bill's constant complaining about not winning the winch on the drive home!

How much did I owe you for that statement?

Thanks all for the kind words and know that this is YOUR forum and YOU will decide the direction it goes!

I've always wanted to rock my "JK" and "JKO" stickers on the same body panel.

Default What's the new rule about posting links

It's good news. Not being able to talk openly about products was crap. Especially if it was just to twist peoples arms into becoming forum sponsors. On the other hand I think there was "some" justified bans based off bogus padded reviews. That kind of forum virus seems hard to stop. It might be nice to have a feedback rating for members as a gauge for their integrity.

What's the deal with posting links to other forums is that now possible. There are times when very little is written about a topic and it is good to be able to say go check it out what was posted over at another forum.

That's a good question.

Also, maybe offer some vendors a free three months to come back and try. A we want you back promo. Their build threads and expert advice really add value. I miss all the build threads. Polly Performance, River Raider etc. It's like a ghost town...

You guys also need to delete the project JK apparel threads etc. Looks like you're still affiliated and that leaves a bad taste with some.

Nice, you mean I won't get banned for offering help to a local again?
