Well, I was home on R&R and saw a 2008 Rubicon Unlimited with EXACTLY what I wanted (essentially fully loaded). And it only had 24 miles on it at the dealer. After haggling with the dealer for about 2-3 hours, I got him down to $30,000. So, after a long talk with my wife about the $$$ savings compared to ordering a new 2009 (even through ENCS) we decided to pull the trigger. So I got to enjoy the drive for about a week or so, now get to comb the internet from here deciding which mods I want to buy first with all that $$$ I saved. Home in the Spring to start.

ENCS was great for me, as far as service and pricing. ...I just couldn't pass up on the chance to save an additional 3-4 grand.

I bought mine over here in Afghanistan and it has been working out great so far. I got everything just the way I want it and am having it delivered when I want it.

I ordered a fully loaded black 2 door Rubicon and have tons of discounts. When it's all said and done I'm paying 29600 for everything.

I've even changed my pick up date because the army can't figure out when they want to send me home. It's really easy and the sales rep work with you.

Dual tops
Mygig
Tow package
Power group

I opted out of the side airbags and the remote start but I think I will have the dealer do the remote start after all.

I had a great deal with ENCS. I got a price in July 2006 for a fully loaded 2dr Rubicon, both tops, power option, side airbags, etc (minus tow package) for $26000! It was an easy choice to do. When my unit was extended another 4 months, ENCS changed the pickup date and location without any problems. I finally got to pick it up January 2007, and was impressed with how easy the process was. I would recommend ENCS to everyone that is in search of a new vehicle.

I bought my 08 JK Rubi Unlimited through ENCS in Vicenza, Italy. I didn't have any issues with them.

ENCS orders a set amount of vehicles that they have in their inventory for sale, but most of them are X's without any options. They buy some Sahara's and even fewer Rubicons.

When I went to order, I could have bought on of their inventory vehicles, but didn't like the selection, so I opted to order to be built at the factory for me. It took longer for delivery, but I got exactly what I wanted.

Don't do it. With the economy as bad as it is, you should get a better deal from a dealer. Save your money and show up at the dealer with cash and I bet that you they will be throwing you all kinds of incentives and discounts.

Yeah, but all you gotta do is have them put it in writing to "let you think about it" and then present that to ENCS and they'll match it + ~$300!

Whiskeytango makes a good point about the economy being poor right now and dealerships giving better deals. One of the main points that made me decide to go with ENCS here recently was because I wanted to custom build my jeep with no hassles and still end up getting a good deal. Unless your going to buy something thats in the dealers inventory your not going to walk away with a steal right now no matter what the market is like. Just my 2 cents though.

I'm leaving Iraq today, and I ordered my JK from them in January. The sales people here are cool, but who ever they have in Dubai is pretty much worthless. My salesmen wen't on R&R and I've email the Dubai office several times and they wont respond.
Other than that they ENCS seems to be good, I'll let you know when I get back to San Diego and take delivery.
I would have waited and probabaly got a better deal back in the staes with the economy and all, but I knew what I wanted and I couldn't find any dealers with it. And so far all of the good deals from the dealers and what they have in inventory, not special orders.
ENCS has their rebates and "deals" on their web page.
You also get an extra $1000 off just for financing with a credit union.
Oh, most rebates I got came out after I orderd my JK. As long as you havent taken delievery on it any new factory and certain other rebates (i.e. the credit union one) are retroactive.

Default ENCS update

So, how are the deals with ENCS, as compared to buying off the economy now. I'm buying a Jeep Rubicon when I get back, but not sure whether to buy a mildly used one, or a new one through ENCS. As of right now, there are no discounts to speak of, but I'm waiting on the 2011 to pop it's head.

FYI, I'm in Afghanistan, and scheduled to head back next March, so I have some time to shop.

Thanks in advance
