Beverly Ann Smiley over 25 years service to the army reserve. Although not an enlisted soldier she volunteered for 20 years as a family support assistant before being hired for that position. Her job included things like making sure soldier knew where to get food, housing, information on benefits among many other things. Taken from us early by cancer on 1/31/2012. At her funeral the army honored her with pall-bearers an award in her name that is to be given out to anyone with service to the army volunteered and or paid for 20+ years of service. Don't remember all the details and wording.
