R.I.P. Brave soldier. It always is very hard to hear that another one of us got killed fighting the good fight. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and his brothers in arms.

I have always felt that everyone should have a Jeep. No matter what race or sex you are, you always wave to the other Jeep drivers. The world would be a better place if everyone drove a Jeep. The same goes for our military members. I never had the priviledge to know Greg but I do now that he made a difference. He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I do know how difficult this is for a family. I hope they have a lot of support.

God Bless.

I am an anesthesiologist at a major level 1 trauma hospital. I see and do it all. And I cry.

I have a friend (Lone Star Jeep Club) who is a Marine. His stateside responsibility is to notify the families of fallen heroes. I forwarded him WOL's email informing me of this tragedy.

I cannot imagine the burden he bears walking up the stairs to a soldier's home. I cannot cry enough about this,...

My kids don't understand this anguish, but they will. I assure you of this.

Please pray for all of our soldiers everywhere.... And thank them every day.

Here is his reply,...

He is a police officer on the beat who spent six months in Saudi Arabia sweating two gallons a day making sure the armored personnel carriers didn't run out of fuel.

He is the POW who went away one person and came back another-or didn't come back at all.

He is the carrier pilot landing on a rolling, pitching, heaving flight deck during a rain squall in the pitch black night of the Tonkin Gulf.

He is the three anonymous heroes in The Tomb of The Unknowns, whose presence at the Arlington National Cemetery must forever preserve the memory of all the anonymous heroes whose valor dies unrecognized with them on the battlefield or in the oceans deep.

People forget to remember that we are ordinary men and women... we do ordinary things... we cherish time with family... friends... we believe in a better America... we know that comes with bloodshed of heros. I never fail to remember those that have been called to the gates of heaven... Greg Rodriguez was issued orders to come to heaven and serve there now. It is with honor that we know this for him.
