I was a Blackhawk crewchief in the Army from 91 to 96. That's where my username comes from.

To all those Serving, Have Served or Will Serve, I Thank You!

I myself, got the no go from the docs when I recently tried to enlist Army Reserves. Combination of ACL reconstruction, scoliosis in 2 parts of back, kidney stone history, and I'm not some young buck (32) but not old either :toung:

I was hoping to get into Civ Affairs, now I will just have to find another way to get involved.

<Salute> Thank you all </Salute>

Hey Z-Man, don't give up on joining. The docs that say "no" are all a bunch of bureaucratic desk-jockies. They told me "no" as well because I used to be paralyzed, but I just went around/over/through them to get my waiver. Now, I'm not only in the Armed Forces, but the United States Marine Corps!

Try the US Navy. They don't care about your bod as much as your brain.

I don't know about that.. They took Rupedog, and obviously he hasn't any brain cause he chose a silver jeep over RED.. I think the Navy's color blind chart must have been on the fritz that day..
