I got your canoe swingin', pal. Really, though I think a lot of us like that we don't have as many people as the other services (or the NYPD, or the University of Florida...), it makes for a tighter knit group.

As far as getting more money from the switch to DHS, we have a program to update the entire service called DEEPWATER that's bringing in new cutters, new aircraft, new small boats, and new missions that I'm pretty excited to see implemented.

Coast Guard in deep water? I guess we wont be calling you guys Puddle Jumpers for long. You know what happens when the water is deeper then your keel?
Sorry, just kidding! Most CG I worked with were real cool. Especially an officer I worked with in Korea that was stationed at Treasure Island. Blond, nice figure, very nice to see after a long day!

we had a Cutter doing harbor security for us in Jebel Ali, years and years ago. i can't imagine taking that thing across the pond. crap, i'd need one for each foot to skate to work in the morning!

i've thought about crossing decks...but when it comes down to it, i just look better in crackerjacks than a suit.

Very good. Hope you enjoy civilian life, and live a long, long time. Now you can grow your hair long, drive a Jeep, and go where you want to go.
