That is pretty cool that everyone is represented.
My last duty station was MCAS Futenma, Okinawa where I spent most of my time as a crewchief flying CH-46's on and off ships in the middle of the night. Like Docwinkle, I missed Desert Storm although the war was the reason I enlisted while still in college.
I've not worked with many Army or Air force, but the Navy Corpsman I had the pleasure of knowing - especially the ones brave enough to fly with me
- were incredible people and I really miss them.
PS to nm6869usmc - My Dad was Huey pilot in Nam and was eventually flying A6's and EA6B's towards the end. He always talks about Marble Mountain and being shot down in the Huey's but I don't know what year that was.
My hat is off to anyone that survived their time over there.

Man there are alot of USAF folks on here...
I am Prior USAF Ground Radio Comm (hence the screen name). Primarily I was Air Traffic Control Radio Maintenance, but I also did Nuclear Missle Comm, Tactical Comm, Pro-Audio and LMR (Land Mobile Radio). It was once said that if you do not know where it goes... send it to Ground Radio. So we ended up working on a bunch of stuff besides radios... security systems, NVGs, etc.

Hey all,
I'm currently a AC-130H pilot with about 6 years or so active duty. Nothing like a 105mm round to make the talibanditos think twice about messing with the boys on the ground. I'm new to the site but I dig it already.
